Introducing the Local Advertising Grant

For years, you have put your trust in Metroland to help you reach your community. Now, during these hard times, we want to give back to all the local businesses that rely on us daily to advertise products and services. We know that owners of small- and medium-sized businesses are worried, so we have created the Local Advertising Grant, which offers up to $1 million in matching funds to ensure you can still reach your customers and continue to thrive in your community.

What will the grant cover?

The grant program offers up to $1 million in advertising credits. This means you can use these credits to purchase ads for both online and print publications by Metroland Media.

Who is eligible?

Metroland invites local businesses that have been impacted by COVID-19 to apply for this grant to get credits.

What are the limitations?

Eligible businesses can use as little as $200 or as much as $10,000 in a month. Right now, the program is open to cover the months of May and June. You must use your grant within the month (advertising credits cannot be saved for later).

How do I apply?

Fill in the online form. You will be asked some questions about your business and why you feel this grant will help you. You will also need to indicate the Metroland newspaper and/or website you would like to advertise on. Please allow a few days for your application to be processed.
